Mission:
The mission of Coachella Valley Arts Institute is to increase literacy and artistic creativity to improve self-esteem, mental health, health, and economic status through educational programming and art for low-income, at-risk youth and BIPOC.
CVAI is a creative art, music, and educational non-profit focused on home-schooling, early graduation, early college entry, artistic training, and job skill development while implementing diverse STEM Programming for our students. Perfect for home-schooled and independent study students, music or entertainment artists, gifted students, adolescent parents, or bullied students who want to start on the desired career.
Since its incorporation, CVAI has evolved to help students graduate early, find jobs and enroll in college to pursue their dreams. Accelerated teaching, tutoring, mentoring, and job training are offered.
Coachella Valley Arts Institute is a 501(c)3 charity established in 2002. Artistic young adults and at-risk and low-income youth can learn how a studio works, from pre-production to post-production. In addition to STEM Education and Arts, the students can receive tutoring for all school subjects from TK to college.
Tutors:
Our tutors are among the top in the state.
We partner with local colleges to bring fresh talented tutors who can connect with your student. They promote good education and college importance. CVAI also has tutors that are certified and credentialed teachers. The choice is yours! Each tutor must hold a college degree or a college-level equivalent in credits with youth mentoring or tutoring experience. After a thorough assessment, your student will be “partnered” with one of our tutors to pair for success. CVAI’s tutors will address each academic weakness. They are highly skilled in their subjects of study. Background checks are required before hiring. Parental preference, personality, age, and scores are examined to pair the best tutor with each student.
Classes:
They will also learn about recorded sound, music promotion through social media, theater, music performing, and booking gigs. Our organization promotes clean, positive self-esteem-building lyrics, dance, and expressive art.
Our programs are STEM-based. STEM stands for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. The ultimate goal of STEM Education is to encourage students to take an interest in STEM subjects at an early age, benefiting them when they enter the jobs market and, in turn, benefiting the economy. Contact us for more info or to request this workshop at your local school or daycare.
We add more programs each year.
We are nothing without our supporters & partners. Thank you!
